Her role will allow her to help our residents to see their potential and help them to discover their talents, strength. and ways they can serve others. She looks forward to working with parents to strengthen and develop a healthy relationship with their daughters. Wendy has her degree in Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science Education and Special Education from Indiana University of PA and Master of Arts in Secondary School Counseling from Towson University. She has worked in public school systems for 35 years. 5 years as a family and consumer science teacher and 30 years as a high school counselor. When she attended a Women of Faith function with HOH’s Founder Lori Zeigler , years ago she had shared that one day she would like to be a part of House of Hope. “When I got the call from Lori, I had just done a Bible study that had me question how I could better serve my community. With that phone call I knew that was God giving me a direction!”

Wendy shares her time with her husband of 36 years and her 4 very loved cats! She also has a son and daughter who are both married. Baking, cooking, participating, and running Bible studies, enjoying the outdoors, and reading are a few of Wendy’s hobbies.
